Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a 1st-Degree Connection Campaign

All the magic using Zopto happens with a good campaign and today we’re going to discuss the step-by-step process of creating a 1st-degree connection campaign. Before we create any campaign you should ensure that you have an active Sales Navigator subscription along with your Zopto subscription to run the outreach campaigns.

Step 1: We can begin by logging in to your Sales Navigator account to start building the leads list for your campaigns.

Step 2: Once you’ve logged in start building your lead list using the lead filters in the search bar. Select the 1st Degree Connection under the Connection tab in the filters to create a list with just your 1st-degree connections. You can also use other filters as per your requirements and create a final list.

Step 3: When the list is ready copy the URL on your browser and go to your zopto account.

Step 4: Log in to your Zopto account and go to the campaigns tab. In the campaigns, tab click on the "Create campaign" button on the right-hand side.

Step 5: A pop-up appears on the screen asking to select a campaign source and you need to click on the Filter URL option.

Step 6: You get the Create campaign using the Filter Url interface where you must paste the URL previously copied from Sales Navigator in the required tab. It is required that you deselected the ignore first-degree profiles box since we’re running a 1st-degree connection campaign itself and then select the next three boxes as shown in the image below. Name the campaign as you like and click on the create campaign button.

Step 7: We need to further edit the campaign before it’s good to go and you can do that by clicking on the name or the pencil icon on the right-hand side.

Step 8: In the campaign go to the Schedule tab and select the timezone, day and time suitable for reaching out to your list and click on save schedule

Step 9: Go to the Modules tab to select the required modules. For a first-degree campaign, you don't want any of these modules at the top. All you need to do is turn on the sequence and then click on the settings button adjacent to it to build the sequence.

Step 10: Now you can edit the sequence as you need. Start with picking a message from your templates or you can create an entirely new one and then add the next step. You can add up to 10 messages but we recommend no more than 3 messages in a sequence.
