If you send an InMail message in Sales Navigator, the response will appear in your Sales Navigator Inbox.
If you send an InMail or message from your LinkedIn account, the response will appear in your LinkedIn Inbox.
If you send a message to a connection or lead in Sales Navigator, the message will appear in their LinkedIn Inbox.
If someone sends you a message or InMail, but you didn't initiate the conversation in Sales Navigator, it will appear in your LinkedIn Inbox.
Keep in mind that you can access both your Sales Navigator Inbox and your LinkedIn Inbox from Sales Navigator.
